Course Overview

Effective employee performance management begins with performance planning that aligns employee performance objectives to the organisational performance agenda. This course enables participants to gain knowledge and practical skills in employee performance planning, which forms the basis for managing, appraising. incentivising and improving the productivity and performance of employees.

Course Objectives

By the end of this training participants should be able to:

  • Explain the purpose for employee performance planning

  • Describe the key steps in developing an employee performance plan

  • Develop an employee performance plan that is aligned to their departmental or corporate performance plan

  • Effectively perform their roles in facilitating employee performance planning
